Creative Dramatics (5-8 yrs. old):

Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm
Instructor: Chaslee Schweitzer, $110/semester or $30/mo.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This class touches on introductory elements of acting, character, performance, stage directions, audience and actor etiquette and theatre terminology. There concentrated use of creative and imaginative play. Students perform a creative showcase piece at the end of the semester.
ATTIRE AND PREPARATION: Students should come prepared each day with lose comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for physical activity.

Acting 101 (3rd-4th grade)

Thursdays 6:00- 7:00
Instructor: Amanda Megyesi McCave, $110/semester or $30/mo.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This acting class is specifically tailored to young actors in 3rd and 4th grade of all experience levels. The class covers topics including introduction to auditioning, the actor’s voice, scene work, character development and ensemble building. There will be some simple memorization required and students will perform a showcase at the end of each semester.
ATTIRE AND PREPARATION: Students should come to class each day with a pencil and in loose comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for movement.

Acting 102 (5th- 6th grade)

Instructor: Brandon Burton, $110/semester or $30/mo.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This acting class is specifically tailored to 5th and 6th grade actors of all experience levels. The class covers topics including auditioning styles and techniques, the actor’s voice, scene work, physicality, communication and expression of emotion, concentration, character development and ensemble building and introduction into monologue work. There will be some memorization required and students will perform a showcase at the end of each semester.
ATTIRE AND PREPARATION: Students should come to class each day with a pencil and in loose comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for movement.

Acting 103 (7th-8th grade)

Tuesdays 5:30-6:30
Instructor: Amber Barnes, $110/semester or $30/mo.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This acting class is specifically tailored to 7th-8th grade actors of all experience levels. The class covers topics including a continuation of auditioning styles, practice and techniques, creating a resume, the actor’s voice, scene work, physicality, communication and expression of emotion, concentration, character development and ensemble building and monologue work. There will be some memorization required and students will perform a showcase at the end of each semester.

Acting 104 (High School)

Tuesdays 5:30-6:30
Instructor: Dan Nickerson, $110/semester or $30/mo.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This acting class is specifically tailored to high school actors of all experience levels. The class covers topics including a continuation of auditioning styles, practice and techniques, creating a resume and headshot, the actor’s voice, introduction to script analysis, diversity of actor techniques, physicality, communication and expression of emotion, concentration, character development and ensemble building and advanced monologue work. There will be memorization required throughout the semester and students will perform a showcase at the end of each semester.
ATTIRE AND PREPARATION: Students should come to class each day with a pencil and in loose comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for movement.

Advanced Acting (5th- High School)

Thursdays 4:30-6:00
Instructor: Brandon Burton, $150/semester or $40/mo.

CLASS DESCRIPTION: This acting class is specifically tailored to actors ready for an extra challenge. Students must audition to be accepted into the class. The class covers topics including intensive audition prep, practice and techniques, creating a resume and headshot, intensive actor monologue and scene work,  concentration, character development and ensemble building. There will be memorization required throughout the semester and students will perform a showcase at the end of each semester.
ATTIRE AND PREPARATION: Students should come to class each day with a pencil and in loose comfortable clothing and shoes appropriate for movement.
