2nd Annual Wet Ink Play Festival...
Past Production - April 2009
Written by 6 local writers
Directed by 6 directors
The Wet Ink Play Festival is
an event at which we invite 6 writers, 6 directors and 24 actors, and throw them
together to write, direct, rehearse and produce six one-act
plays in a 24 hour period of time.
Artists and
audience will meet on Friday night, April 3, 2009,
to determine (through audience suggestions and participation) which writers,
directors and actors will be paired up. The names of the shows will even
come from the audience! The writers will begin writing immediately, and as
they have material, the directors and actors will take it from there! All
will come back to the stage on Saturday night, April
4th, to perform their freshly written works...hence the name, the Wet
Ink Play Festival!
