love choose with the mind or with the heart? Or is it through some other
force altogether? Shakespeare leads us on a journey through spells, through
dreams and into comic mayhem with his timeless play A Midsummer Night’s
Dream. On one extraordinary night the mischievous Puck throws the worlds of
the mortal and the divine on a collision course for disaster. Witness the young
actors of Venture’s Youth Conservatory as they bring this challenging play to
explosive new life.
About the Director:
Josh Aaseng is a native Montanan and graduate of New York University, earning a degree in drama. He has performed in many shows in Billings and New York and has directed plays and short films.
Shortly after graduation he took a leave from the arts and joined the Peace Corps with his wife where
they lived and worked for two years in Ukraine as community youth developers. He is very excited to
be back in Montana working with Venture Theater, its students and its wonderful collective.
