The Clean House is featured as Venture's Rankin File.  Unpredictable and entirely genuine, this poignant comedy revolves around two women - Lane and Matilde. Lane is a high-powered physician who doesn't understand how she became so obsessed with order, cleanliness, and everything logical. Unfortunately, Matilde is her cleaning lady who refuses to clean. Lanes' life becomes more and more irrational as she loses control of everything around her. Mixing humor with painful realism, The Clean House creates a new understanding of forgiveness, loss and the nature of true love.
 
The Rankin File, named for Jeanette Rankin, is Venture's annual production dedicated to female playwrights and women's issues.
