This musical follows a group of star-struck students in the early 1980s at
New York's School of the Performing Arts. Inspired by the Oscar-winning movie,
"Fame," the musical tracks these students from auditions to graduation, sharing
in their dreams and disappointments in the quest for success.
The show explores issues such as prejudice, identity, self-worth, literacy,
sexuality, drug abuse and perseverance.
