Youth Conservatory
Past Production - May 2001
By Buddy MacKinder
Directed by Mace Archer

An original play about youth and the lure of the drug, Ecstasy.

Director's Notes:  It is with great pleasure that we present this new play from Buddy MacKinder. We strive at Venture Theatre to produce theatre that is relevant to our times and speaks to issues that are on people's minds. Drug use is still common among teens, and this play is our way of allowing our teen actors to portray roles that they can identify with and deal with complex problems in the safe confines of the Venture Theatre.

These actors are among the fines actors with whom I have worked. I am proud of their work, and I hope that you are able to hear what they have to say in their performance. This play is not fiction. This evening, it is the truest thing we know.
